Islamic Holidays



Eid is an Arabic term that means holiday. On this holiday, everyone calls to each other Eid Mubarak. Eid means "celebration" and Mubarak means "blessings". In Islam, Muslims usually celebrate Eid al-Fitr after Ramadan and Eid-al-Adha in the month of Dhul Haj (12th    and last month in Islamic lunar calendar).
There are 2 main holidays of Muslim’s community which names are Eid-Al-Fitr and Eid-Al-Azha.

Eid-Al-Fitr:
Eid-Al-Fitr is one of the main holidays of Islam which comes at the end of the holy month of Ramadan.


Eid-Al-Fitr means “Feast of Fast-Breaking”. Ramadan is the holiest month which is the 9th month in Islamic calendar. This is the holy month of fasting. The month of Ramadan begins and ends with the appearance of the new moon. In this month Muslims don’t drink and eat anything during daylight hours. Fasting in this month is obligatory for all Muslims.

Many Muslims perform the Umrah during the Ramadan. Umrah means to visit populated places. In Umrah, Muslims perform Tawaf round the holy Kaaba (house of Allah) and sai (fastly walking) between Safa and Marwah, Safa and Marwah are two hills. In these activities, Iharam is most necessary clothes.

Muslims prefer to perform Umrah during the Ramadan with Cheap Ramadan Umrah Packages.

Eid-Al-Azha:


Eid-Al-Azha is second of main holidays in Islam. It’s celebrated on the 10th day of Dhuj Hijja. Dhu Hijja is 12th month of Islam. The second name of Eid-Al-Azha is Festival of Sacrifice or Greater Eid. It is also called Bakra Eid. One of greatest pillars of Islam contains in this month, which name’s hajj.  Eid-Al-Azha comes at the end of hajj. On this occasion Muslims sacrifice their halal animals for Allah, therefore, we call this Festival of Sacrifice.

Hajj is a very important part of the Islamic faith. It’s obligatory for all Muslims who can bear to all expenses, at least once in their lives. Every year million Muslims visit house of Allah in the Makkah city known as the Kabba, built by Hazrat Ibrahim (AS.) and Hazrat Ismail (AS.) at the order of Allah (God). But nowadays it is not difficult because people (Muslims) to perform the hajj by using the Cheapest Hajj Package.

Allah says: It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah (God); it is your piety that reaches Him. Our Beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) said, “For every people, there is a feast and this is our (Muslims) feast.”
